All 30 NHL arenas, 83 days:
We Dream about it, The Hockey Circle does it.
During his trip, The Hockey Circle found the time to visit the Ultimate Hockey Fan Cave, we gave him a tour, did some live streaming and even some THL exhibition!
All of us hockey fan have dreamed about it, don't lie - watching hockey at every NHL arena. Well, The Hockey Circle took that dream and made it a reality. The Cave was lucky enough to sit down and hear his story. Thanks to Felix for making us very jealous hockey fans.
It's a dream trip, in theory, however, it's a dream trip that takes a lot of work and planning, especially when you consider all the variables: driving, game schedules, hotels/air bnb, cost, planning, staying on budget, recording, shooting and producing amazing YouTube content. Once again, a dream trip in theory, but in reality, it takes a lot of time, resources and energy to pull off and The Cave wanted to hear it all!
We all sat around Kenn's newest creation, the goal light table, and discussed hockey, backstories, social media and then Kenn said one of his most famous lines "LET'S GO LIVE."
It was one of our best live streams yet - Felix has been one of our most informed hockey guests and he shared all the specifics of his journey of visiting all 30 rinks (31 including out custom tabletop rink) in 83 days. The Cave, and our followers, peppered him with questions about his trip and he gladly shared.
Here are some trip highlights so far (he still has about 10 games to go, so he hasn't been to all the rinks):
- the most expensive parking (45$ American, in Washington)
- the nicest arena (MSG)
- best fan fair activities (Dallas & Arizona)
- longest one sitting drive - (13 hours)
- best/most excited and passionate crowd (Penguins)
- time to plan (planned every day for 6 months leading up to the trip)
- best Fan Cave (come on, we all know who it is =))
Long story short, we loved showing The Hockey Circle The Cave and hearing his story. Felix is such an enthused hockey fan who just loves the sport of hockey just as much as us. So Felix, The Hockey Circle, you're name is on the 2-foot Stanley Cup & you're welcome back anytime. The only issue with The Hockey Circle visiting The Cave was that his stay wayyyyyyy too damn short!
We can't wait to see his final video and then, once again, we'll be a bunch of jealous hockey fans.
The Cave speaks for all hockey players Felix:
