Time to Drop the Puck
By Patrick Hoffman
If you're a hockey fan, you are more than in luck.
Why? Well, because it's time to drop the puck.
Us hockey fans have been waiting for what seems like forever for our sport to come back.
Come October through June, hockey is not something we will lack.
There will be games on our every one of screens every night.
Why? Because hockey is the most beautiful sight.
Hockey fans will flock to arenas on a nightly basis to cheer for their favorite team.
Back in July and August, doing this seemed like a distant dream.
For NHL clubs, it will be a chance to wipe the slate clean and dream about the Cup.
When it comes to dreaming about the season, things will certainly be looking up.
On opening night, arenas will be filled with fans welcoming their respective team back and all with one goal in mind.
Unfortunately for a lot of fans, come spring time, their destiny will not be too kind.
Hockey season is just about here.
If I were other sports fans, I would steer clear.
When it comes to hockey, us fans know that our sport is the best.
We'd be more than willing to put that to the test.
Come October, everything will be fine.
Why? Because it's hockey time?
